NARAL Reproductive Freedom Fellow and Communications Intern
Reproductive Freedom Fellow
NARAL Pro-Choice Washington seeks a reproductive freedom fellow to assist with all aspects of our electoral work during the 2017 campaign cycle.
NARAL Pro-Choice Washington is a grassroots, political advocacy organization that works across the state to advance reproductive freedom. With our 40,000 members, we work to elect pro-choice champions, pass pro-choice legislation, and mobilize our base to effect meaningful change. Our work seeks to advance the full spectrum of reproductive freedom which includes abortion, affordable contraception, safe and health pregnancies, and paid parental leave. Right now, key races are happening across the state at every level of government. From mayoral races, to county council, to the state Senate, we have the opportunity to support true champions running for office and demand a future that includes reproductive freedom for all people. We need Reproductive Freedom Fellows to join our team and get out the vote!
Position Description: Fellows will gain hands on campaign field experience through helping to run phone banks and canvasses, discussing Get Out the Vote strategies, creating scripts, managing data in NGP and VAN, training activists, and performing voter education and volunteer recruitment. This is a great position for anyone looking for experience in politics or campaigns.
We are looking for individuals who can commit to 10 hours per week from October – December. The schedule can be flexible, including evenings and weekends.
