NARAL Reproductive Freedom Fellow and Communications Intern

Reproductive Freedom Fellow NARAL Pro-Choice Washington seeks a reproductive freedom fellow to assist with all aspects of our electoral work during the 2017 campaign cycle. NARAL Pro-Choice Washington is a grassroots, political advocacy organization that works across the state to advance reproductive freedom. With our 40,000 members, we work to elect pro-choice champions, pass pro-choice legislation, and mobilize our base to effect meaningful change. Our work seeks to advance the full spectrum of reproductive freedom which includes abortion, affordable contraception, safe and health pregnancies, and paid parental leave. My office is always accepting resumes from college students interested in interning for academic credit. By assisting the Renton district office staff, interns have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about how a Congressional office provides constituent services and interacts with the community. Interns in the Washington, D.C. office will have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working closely with legislative, communications and constituent services staff members. Candidates who are chosen for the Washington, D.C. office are responsible for paying their travel and living expenses. Interns in any office can arrange to receive academic credit for their work.
